Mel is the Owner and CEO of MPowered Sports & Entertainment Agency. Mel is a licensed attorney with 21 years legal experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, economic development agreements, and civil rights litigation. Mel is a certified contract advisor by the National Football League Player's Association (NFLPA) and the Canadian Football League (CFL). Mel is a contracts specialist with a focus on player contracts, endorsements and licensing, and name, image and likeness agreements. Mel earned her BA and JD from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and she completed the Athlete Management Course and the Athlete Marketing and Branding Course through Sports Management Worldwide. Mel lives by the motto that "success is intentional, so do it on purpose."

Darrick is a Senior Agent and has been advising athletes on sports contracts for over 7 years. Darrick is a certified contract advisor by the Canadian Football League (CFL) and completed the Athlete Management Course through Sports Management Worldwide. Darrick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team positioning MPowered Sports to be one of the most effective leaders in sports management. Darrick is also an annual contributor to the Fritiz Pollard Alliance as well as the Johnnie Cochran Salute to Excellence. Darrick lives by the 3H motto that if you "stay Humble, stay Hungry and stay Healthy, nothing is impossible."
